Purpose:
This role is a crossfunctional business analyst position that works closely with Agile development teams to gather and translate business needs into user stories. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders analyzing business processes and contributing to the creation of highquality products. Additionally this role helps improve existing processes supports decisionmaking and ensures thorough testing by defining detailed requirements for test cases.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Elicits and documents detailed business requirements at the user story level ensuring a clear understanding of user needs and expectations.
Agile Collaboration: Actively participates in an Agile development team contributing to sprint planning daily standups and other Agile ceremonies.
Business Analysis: Develops a deep understanding of business processes and workflows by working closely with Product Owners SMEs and business stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities to optimize and streamline business processes and products recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Decision Support: Assists decisionmakers by gathering and analyzing relevant information enabling them to make informed choices.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborates with Product Owners and QA to define and document detailed test case requirements ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Documentation: Creates and maintains essential business and product artifacts such as user stories process flows data dictionaries and other relevant documentation.
CrossFunctional Communication: Effectively communicates and collaborates with individuals across various departments and functions fostering strong working relationships.
Experience Education Skills:
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban etc.
510 years related work experience including business processes Knowledge of technology testing methods and procedures Personal computer and related spreadsheet and data manipulation software Experience with business analysis or project management
