Board Certification as a Family Nurse PractitionerAdult/GERO Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
Masters degree in nursing or doctor in nursing practice (DNP) from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting organization.
Valid NYS professional nursing license.
Recent clinical experience as an advanced practice nurse.
Ability to work effectively with students public college community and external constituencies with an appreciation for cultural and group differences.
Terminal degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting organization.
Experience with the development of curriculum.
Experience teaching/precepting advanced practice nursing students.
Knowledge of basic computer programs and information technology systems.
