Job Description
This position collaborates closely with department heads including Growing Shipping and Inventory to align strategies with business objectives. Additionally the Operations Manager ensures compliance with safety and operational standards implements process improvements and reports performance data to leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead manage and hold accountable the location operations team.
- Own and manage operational goals ensuring team alignment with business objectives.
- Drive consistency and operational efficiency across supervisors.
- Execute and oversee largescale or crossdepartmental projects with defined timelines.
- Monitor and manage key operational KPIs including labor efficiency task completion rates and resource utilization metrics.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure operational strategies align with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and training requirements across all operations teams.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends address inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Provide leadership with regular reports on operational progress challenges and key metrics.
Experience/Qualifications
- 5 years experience in an operations management role preferably in horticulture agriculture or related industries.
- Proven ability to lead teams drive efficiency and manage largescale operations.
- Strong knowledge of workflow optimization labor management and resource allocation.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations within an operational setting.
Abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement capabilities.
- Problemsolving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor environments when necessary.
Work Environment
- Largely outdoor 4060 of the time); must be prepared to work in all safe weather conditions.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Weekends on a rotational basis as needed
- 4050 hours per week during peak seasons
Compensation
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. $80000 range annual salary
