Join our team as an In Home Therapist and make a difference in the life of a family by providing home community based strengthbased intensive family therapy services. In this role you will support youth struggling with their mental health provide consistent strengthbased therapeutic interventions to children & their families and identify and empower families to utilize community resources.
Responsibilities
Facilitate family centered strengthbased and solution focused family therapy treatment
Advocate for clients in areas of health education vocation legal and family interactions
Provide case management services/collaboration with child serving systems
Driving is required

BSCS believes in investing in our staff and offers a comprehensive weekly Professional Development and Growth Seminar with your colleagues. These seminars are designed to assist with competencies needed for your license. Topics include Diagnosing Ethics and Boundaries Clinical Considerations Substance Use Disorder Treatment to name a few. These seminars are facilitated by seasoned clinicians. In addition BSCS offers extensive training in Evidence Based Practice including Motivational Interviewing Trauma Services and Substance Use Disorder Treatments.
At BSCS we are committed to developing you in becoming a welltrained and skilled clinician. As part of this position you have access to the weekly Professional Development Seminars facilitated by seasoned clinicians in small cohort groups that offer intensive training on diagnostic criteria evidencebased practices trauma and much more. This training series is designed to prepare you for the LMHC and LICSW licensing test.
Masters degree in mental health or related field such as mental health counseling social work marriage and family therapy is required
At least one year of experience working in child and family navigating systems
Desire to support families in their homes and work with multiple state systems (such as Schools Courts DCF and DMH)
