Job Description

The Academic Services Tutor/Assistant serves as an integral part of the team in assisting the student in the Tutoring Center with their academic needs which center around the CLCs mission of increasing employability enabling future education encouraging civic involvement and promoting family stability and support in our community.

The Academic Services Tutor/Assistant is responsible for assisting adult student with homework computer skills and basic conversation as well as helping them to achieve their literacy goals. This position will also assist with administrative tasks requiring the use of Microsoft Office and Google Application. The student should possess tutoring and problemsolving skills demonstrate telephone and videophone etiquette and be able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Applicants must be current Franklin University students with Federal Work Study eligibility as part of their financial aid award package.

Academic Services Tutor/Assistant will assist the CLC Tutoring Center located in one of the main offices located in the Jefferson Center located at 92 Jefferson Avenue Columbus Ohio 43215.
