The Retail Sales Associate assists customers in the selection and purchase of Boy Scouts of America merchandise. Completes sales transactions and assists customers with product information. Assists in unloading trucks to stock merchandise. Supports store promotions through local councils. Safeguards cash performs inventory and maintains store appearance.
1020 hours per week.
Store Hours:- Monday 9am 6pm
- Tuesday to Friday 9am 5pm
- Saturday 9am to 2pm
- Closed on Sundays
Essential Functions:- Provides excellent customer service in the store and on the phone.
- Processes customer orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintains a stocked organized and clean store.
- Opens and closes the store as directed by management using the prescribed policies and procedures.
- Safeguards BSA monies and merchandise.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:- 1 year of retail sales experience
- Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Knowledge of Scouting program preferred
