Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Scarborough Borough Area
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
Contract: Flexible shortterm and longterm opportunities available
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Supply Teacher to work at a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Scarborough Borough area. This role offers the opportunity to step into an established school community providing highquality teaching and support to pupils across different year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver preplanned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and abilities
- Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding
- Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential
- Ability to quickly adapt to different year groups and classroom environments
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for education and supporting student development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
