Job Description

Job Posting Summary

The adjunct faculty member will teach courses in cybersecurity with a focus on information and network security. This role involves delivering highquality instruction across three campuses (DF MT) and online providing students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for cybersecurity.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive course materials for cybersecurity emphasizing information and network security
  • Conduct lectures seminars and practical labs to engage students and enhance their understanding of cybersecurity principles
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles and environments (inperson and online)
  • Assess student performance through assignments projects exams and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay current with industry trends and integrate the latest advancements in cybersecurity into the curriculum
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to ensure a cohesive and uptodate educational experience
  • Able to teach one or more of the following subjects: Introduction to cybersecurity Linux administration Network security Security policy and audit and Ethical hacking

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in teaching cybersecurity courses with a strong emphasis on information and network security
  • Demonstrated ability to teach both theoretical concepts and practical applications in cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and the ability to effectively deliver remote instruction
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Practical experience in the cybersecurity industry is preferred
Education Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Exception is given to a bachelor degree with more than ten years of industrial experiences on cybersecurity
