Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Assurance Engineer will work in one or several areas of the project providing a holistic approach governed by a Quality Control Plan (QCP). The engineer is responsible for creating maintaining and evolving a program QCP that articulates how Team TekSynap will measure track report and analyze contract performance for the customer. The QCP will include a selfinspection and a followup inspection plan; methodology for identifying and correcting problems; composition of quality control team with identification of individual roles and responsibilities; and an outline of the procedures used to maintain quality timeliness responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities inherent in the program QCP creation and implementation include:
- Ensuring that quality control procedures adequately evaluate products processes and services.
- Determining if current methods and techniques result in meeting reliability standards or require modification.
- Developing modifying applying and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes mechanisms and equipment; conducting quality assurance tests; and performing statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Auditing quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
- May specialize in the areas of design incoming material production control product evaluation and reliability inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance
- Years of experience with degree: BS 57 Years MS 35 PhD 02
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Lean and/or sixsigma quality engineering methodologies
- Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
- Certified Test Engineer (CSTE)
- ITIL v4 Foundations certification
