Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by developing and implementing strategies for improvements in manufacturing and new product development.
- Lead the division in developing and executing the strategic plan for the division including plans for expansion of the business.
- Champion manufacturing excellence focusing on safety product quality ontime delivery and efficiency.
- Leads cost reduction effort focused on sourcing lean manufacturing and value engineering.
- Leads the development and maintenance of strategic alliances and partnerships with internal and external organizations (vendors and customers) to support growth of the division.
- Build organizational capability and morale within the division by developing both internal talent and attracting external talent to the organization to drive the desired customerfocused culture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering operations management business or related field.
- Ten 10 years of experience in a highmix manufacturing organization in roles of increasing responsibility.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes quality control supply chain and product management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with crossfunctional teams and customer/partner negotiations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with a Power Systems emphasis
- Master of Business Administration
- Previous experience as a Product Line Manager in power systems products / solutions for utility or industrial markets
