Job Description
- Prior experience teaching or working with children
- Committed Christian aligned with the Academys Mission and Statement of Faith actively attending a local church
- Commitment to the philosophy of Christian education
- Desire and ability to teach children across all grades (preschool through 8th) or in specific grade levels of your choosing
- National fingerprint background check on file
- Attend annual Substitute Teacher training at WBCA
- ACSI certification
- Bachelors Degree Associates Degree paraprofessional certificate or teaching assistant certificate
- Demonstrate ability to work with and relate to students of all ages (preschool 8th)
- Ability and commitment to follow the provided lesson plans
- Demonstrate ability to teach children with varied skills and learning styles
- Ability to integrate the Christian faith with curriculum instruction discipline and the school community
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Guide assist and encourage students in the learning process
- Demonstrate flexible teaching style
- Understand and follow school policies
