Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our clients growing team. This role requires a driven individual with a strong foundation in restaurant construction management. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight on projects ensuring successful outcomes that align with our strategic goals and customer expectations.
Location: Tampa FL
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction team to estimate and plan projects efficiently.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications tailored to restaurant construction.
- Mentor and support less experienced project management staff fostering a team environment that emphasizes growth and learning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Owners Architects Engineers and Subcontractors to secure and sustain business growth.
- Manage the procurement of Subcontractors and Vendors ensuring comprehensive scope of work reviews contract compliance and risk management.
- Address and resolve drawing interpretation issues conflicts and discrepancies.
- Oversee project administration tasks including Submittals RFIs Change Order Proposals Owner Billings and Monthly Reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial projections and cost management to forecast total estimated project costs.
- Monitor and update Project Schedules reporting on progress and ensuring timely project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or substantial project management experience in restaurant construction may substitute for education.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management specifically with restaurant construction projects.
- Proficient understanding of construction methods and building systems specific to the hospitality and restaurant sector.
- Strong financial management and project oversight abilities with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
