Job Description
Coyote Trails Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Bartender. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.
- Stocks bar mixes and serves alcoholic beverages assists in cost control inventory and maintains inventory records.
- Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu.
- Assists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content.
- Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products.
- Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
- Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
- Performs opening and closing duties which include but are not limited to inventory cash control cleaning and restocking.
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
- Reviews banquet schedule for changes calendar of events and special events.
- Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
- On occasion will serve meals to guests.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in restaurant pointofsale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS).
- Frequently stands walks talks hears and uses hands.
- Regularly reaches with hands and arms.
- Occasionally climbs balances stoops kneels crawls crouches; tastes smells and sits.
- Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.
- ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
- Knowledge of wine spirits beer and current trends in industry and marketplace.
- Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values.
- Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees clients and vendors.
- Fluent in English speaking writing and understanding.
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
