As a Plumbers Helper you will work alongside and support the lead plumber by assisting with the installation maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in plumbing gain handson experience and learn from the best in the industry.
- Assist lead plumbers on job sites ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Carry tools materials and equipment as needed for each job
- Follow instructions and guidance from the lead plumber for installation repair and troubleshooting of plumbing systems
- Learn how to perform basic plumbing tasks such as cutting measuring and assembling pipes
- Wear protective gear (floor savers etc. while inside clients homes to maintain a neat and respectful work environment
- Assist in testing all completed work to ensure proper function and quality
- Maintain a safetyconscious attitude while on the job site and during transportation to job sites
- Ensure tools materials and vehicles are properly cleaned and organized after each job
- Communicate effectively with the lead plumber and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow
- Strong interest in learning the plumbing trade with a desire to pursue a career in plumbing
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable punctual and a positive attitude toward customer service
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to adhere to company standards for safety professionalism and cleanliness
