Job Description
Master of Library Science and/or Information Science from an ALA accredited program. Minimum three years of experience with integrated library systems administration and technical services functions including acquisitions cataloging resource management and serials. Advanced knowledge of cataloging principles practices and standards such as RDA MARC21 LCSH and LCC . Knowledge of authority work and experience using metadata management tools. Experience in a supervisory role including hiring training and evaluating staff and setting goals and priorities. Demonstrated analytical organizational and project management skills. Strong service orientation and the ability to work collaboratively with students faculty and staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong technology skills and the ability to adapt to changing technological environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an academic library. Experience working with the FOLIO library Systems Platform.
