What You Will Do:

The Quality & Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization which includes (ESA/MCL/NDT/MET disciplines) is responsible for working closely with our internal and external suppliers and providing process approvals surveillance and production support. Were looking for a selfmotivated individual to join our Inspection and Technical Service group to support supplier quality requirements within the balance and airflow processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage weekly airflow lab job priorities.
• Manage airflow lab equipment calibrations perishable supplies EH&S responsibilities and maintenance.
• Perform airflow master qualifications for internal and external customers.
• Provide temporary airflow master approvals when P&W ASC is not available.
• Provide assistance to airflow bench customers as needed.
• Assist customers/suppliers with trouble shooting of fixtures benches masters etc.
• SharePoint site improvements for internal master requests.
• Utilize 3D printer to create airflow tooling as necessary.
• Perform balance work instruction reviews/approvals per customer requests.
• Analyze balance measurement system data for repeatability and reproducibility.
• Support P&W ASC with audits at P&W module centers and local external suppliers for compliance to P&W specifications. Provide findings report and follow ups as needed.
• Cross training opportunities in CMM and structured light inspection within Q&PE.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Advanced Degree and 5 months of experience in Quality Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or NDT Inspection fields; OR Bachelors degreeand 8 years of relevant experience; OR Associates degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Academic background in STEM field; engineering mathematics or statistics preferred.
• Experience in Airflow Cooling Design Manufacturing Test and Validation process.
• Experience with Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Engineering or NDT tools and equipment.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Aerospace industry Quality standards and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints schematics and other technical data.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills and advanced use of Excel.
• Understand Design of Experiments SPC and Gage R&R.
• Deft at working with automated machinery and figuring out new technology.
• Experience with problemsolving tools such as root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma).
• Experience using Microsoft Office Solumina SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management shop personnel and customers.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
