BASIC FUNCTION:
The Anesthesia Technician is an integral member of the anesthesia team providing care to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. The primary responsibility of the position is to assist licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. The anesthesia technician along with other members of the perioperative team utilizes resources in a cost effective manner in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: This position requires a minimum education of a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous work experience in a surgical environment with knowledge of medical terminology is desired. Knowledge of surgical procedure terminology and basic pharmacology is preferred.

Salary Range: $18.3326.58/hour Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
