Job Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation guidelines of all guest rooms and suites (bedroom living area kitchen outdoor spaces bathroom) while adhering to hotel and department policies and procedures.

Ensure safety security and proper handling/usage of assigned master keys and communication devices.

Ensure any lost and found items are properly reported recorded and submitted according to the hotel and departmental Lost and Found Policy.

Ensure any vital information is passed on to the AM Supervisor(s) i.e. room damage lost and found routine maintenance etc. reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.

Must be able to crosstrain in other Housekeeping and Laundry related areas.

Maintain calmness and composure under high levels of pressure.

Adapt to frequent change fast paced environment delays or unexpected events.

Pays close attention to details.

Ability to multitask and uses time efficiently and effectively.

Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills.


Requirements

Essential Skills Experience and Education include:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Luxury hotel and/or luxury residence experience preferred.

High volume/ fastpaced environment experience preferred.

Intermediate English verbal.

Must have flexible work availability all shifts weekdays weekends and holidays.


Physical Requirements include:

The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


Salary Description
$22.00 $25.00 per hour
