The Opportunity: Senior Technologist Technician or Technical Architect Architecture
Type: Contract Inside IR35
Length: 3 months initially but likely to extend.
Rate: DoE but between 25 and 35/hr
mustard is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician or general technical person in Architecture to join a dynamic Manchester based team. This role requires a proven track record in at least one of the following sectors!
Science and Technology
Public sector
Custodial
Defence
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in RIBA stage 4 delivering coordinated construction drawing packages using the latest design software.
Must have:
Ability to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
Either have or be happy to go through security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce fully coordinated 3D models schematic general arrangement and detailed drawings.
Ensure highquality CAD drawings in compliance with internal and customer standards.
Provide technical mentoring to junior team members and support the development of Early Careers professionals.
Manage Architectural CAD involvement in small to mediumsized projects ensuring quality cost and timely delivery.
Contribute to the disciplinespecific CAD standards and review subcontractor drawings for technical compliance.
Quals:
HNC or foundation degree in architectural technology construction or the built environment.
Pproficiency in Autodesk Revit 3D.
Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 current UK technical standards and CDM regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with software such as Lumion COBie Dynamo Sketchup and more.
Experience in supervising and mentoring junior CAD team members.
