Summary of Position
As a Senior Software Engineer on the platform team you are responsible for architecting designing and developing custom solutions to provide scalable reliable and secure solutions adhering to software development lifecycle. Perform peer code reviews coordinate production releases with product owner and stakeholders within the organization. Provide timely updates to direct manager regarding teams progress. You are also expected to be a standard bearer on our teams development maintenance design patterns and culture. This may include forming development standards creating internal presentations on best practices tutorials and pair programming with developers getting comfortable with the language.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Write technical specifications and requirements definitions based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
Support maintain document and write unit tests for software
Analyze code faults to find root causes of errors and put systems into place to preempt similar faults in the future
Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
Consult with Product Management and end users to prototype refine test and debug programs to meet needs
Maintain existing code port it to new platforms
Participate in design and development of new features products and utilities
Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Responsible for requirements definition design reviews implementation testing and initial documentation
Working with commercial CPaaS APIs and opensource realtime communication software supporting highquality low latency voice/video communication between millions of users
Optimize performance for a globally distributed network
Responsible for maintaining the liveliness and availability of services during scheduled periods
The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.

Qualifications
5 years of .Net experience
Very comfortable building backend services with .NET and C#.
SQL database experience NoSQL is a plus
Experience with AWS/Azure Azure preferred.
Understands the importance of unit and integration testing as a core portion of development
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration
High proficiency with version control Git preferred
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with WebRTC SDP SRTP ICE TURN/STUN preferred
Experiencing with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkinsknowledge preferred)
Experience with developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Understanding of best practices around Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
JavaScript or Typescript experience preferred; no framework knowledge required
