JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Altoona invites candidates for the job of PartTime Assistant Wrestling Coach. Penn State Altoona is a member of the NCAA Division III and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC). Reports to the head coach and is responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of the Wrestling program. This is a parttime nonbenefits eligible opening.
Duties include but will not be limited to:
Competition coaching
Recruitment of student athletes
Practice sessions
Assisting with team fundraising
Team travel
Requirements and Qualifications
A demonstrated ability to recruit motivate and develop Division III studentathletes; knowledge of the sport and a verifiable ability to teach both fundamentals and strategies of the sport is necessary.
Must possess a commitment to high academic standards and the NCAA Division III philosophy.
A successful candidate will have a reputation for integrity.
Applicants must be well versed in the sport and have 12 years of previous coaching experience.
This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid USdrivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be requiredin addition to standard background checks.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
FBI Criminal Background Check
