Job Description
Our mission at Goldfish is simple teach children to be safer in and around the water while making their experience Golden.
We work every day to make sure we provide WOW customer service and topnotch swim lessons. But none of that matters if we dont have an amazing team people who share our passion and commitment to making a difference with each swimmer that swims through our doors.
- We pay well over minimum wage starting at $1418 per hour!
- Consistent and flexible schedule We wont change your schedule every week! (and were out of the water by 8pm! Perfect afterschool job!
- We swim in our own stateoftheart bright colorful indoor facility. Its always sunny and 90 degrees!
- Paid training including free Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification through Ellis & Associates!
- Earn shout outs gift cards and apparel! Get rewarded how you want!
- We provide youruniform! Swimsuit rash guard and shorts!
- Paid Holidays for Full Time Employees!
- Full time employees receive medical and dental benefits vacation days and paid time off.
- Advancement opportunities available for those who want it. Golden Teacher Deck Supervisor and more!
- Teach children 4 month to 12 years old water safety & swimming techniques using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
- Provide positive reinforcement to students
- Communicate to parents on swimmers progress
- All instructors are required to get lifeguard & CPR/AED certified
- Lifeguard and maintain safety in the water
- Administer first aid when necessary
- Respond to emergencies in and around the pool
- Patient every swimmer learns at their own pace. Being willing to help each student as an individual is key to their success and yours!
- Considerate our best swim instructors care about their students. Its about getting to know the kids that you see every week and being excited to see them again.
- Genuine you dont have to be especially outspoken or especially serious just be yourself. Different teachers can have equal success Remember every child learns in their own way!
- Responsible & Consistent You will be responsible for not only the success of your students but also for their safety. A successful Goldfish employee must also care about the success of the school!
Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
