Job Description
Position: CNC Lathe Operator Location: Chattanooga TN
Role and Responsibilities:
- Setup and Operation: Handle the setup and operation of CNC lathe and chamfering equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs) work orders and instructions from supervisors.
- Inspection: Constantly monitor and inspect materials at different stages of production.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with fellow employees to ensure quality efficiency and safety.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain machinery tools and work area regularly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain necessary records according to SOPs and work instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Test samples and conduct 1st piece and final inspections reporting any nonconformances.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and understand the environmental policies in line with the ISO 140001 standard.
- Physical Demands: Ability to consistently lift up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks throughout the shift.
