Job Summary
The Associate Director of the M.A. Program in Forensic Psychology reports directly to the Director of the program in the School of Psychology. The incumbent will assist the Director of the program in the daytoday operations of the program including recruitment review and acceptance of applicants; program design and development; course scheduling; program logistics; continuous improvement of the program; and teaching courses in the program or other courses in the School of Psychology as appropriate. In conjunction with assisting in the administration of the M.A. Program the Associate Director will help oversee students participating in the Combined B.A./M.A. Program in Forensic Psychology and collaborate with core faculty from the Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology on that programs Forensic Track.
Required Qualifications
1.Doctoral degree in psychology and specialization in forensic psychology. Licenseeligible as a psychologist in the State of New Jersey. 2.Specialized training in forensic psychology and broad experience conducting forensic evaluations. 3.Prior experience appropriate to appointment at the Professor or Associate Professor level including teaching graduatelevel coursework in forensic psychology and a track record of research and publication in the area of forensic psychology. 4.Ability to recruit students and manage program logistics. 5.Ability to develop positive relationships with students. 6.Ability to collaborate with faculty in course and curriculum development. 7.An established record of scholarship Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
