Physical Therapist Outpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist
Were seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation center. As a valued member of our healthcare team youll provide exceptional patient care while working in a supportive collaborative environment that prioritizes both patient outcomes and professional growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on physician referrals and medical history
- Implement evidencebased therapeutic interventions across musculoskeletal neuromuscular cardiopulmonary and integumentary systems
- Perform detailed assessments including functional activities range of motion manual muscle testing and gait analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide expert instruction in therapeutic exercises functional training and use of assistive devices
- Maintain accurate documentation for treatment plans progress notes and insurance requirements
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current state Physical Therapy license or eligible for licensure
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to evidencebased practice and continuing education
