About this Role
Join our Environmental Municipal & Civil (EMC) division as a Fleet Controller and play a crucial role in keeping our fleet of over 1500 Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) running smoothly. Youll ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time while driving efficiencies and compliance across our hire operation.
- Oversee the allocation and availability of a large HGV fleet.
- Maximise fleet productivity while ensuring compliance with DVSA FORS and Olicense standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth fleet operations.
- Use data and telematics systems to make smart costeffective decisions.
- Keep accurate fleet records and optimise fleet rotation and performance.
About You
Youll bring extensive experience in fleet management and a sharp eye for compliance and operational excellence. We want someone who thrives on problemsolving collaboration and using data to drive decisions.
- Proven experience managing large hire fleets ideally in the HGV sector.
- Indepth knowledge of transport compliance (DVSA FORS Olicense).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and suppliers.
- Able to manage highpressure situations and balance service with cost control.
- Confident using fleet management systems and telematics data.
