Pay:$22.40 $24.90 per hour! (depending on related experience)
Signon Bonus for Eligible OMH Community Residence Positions
Full time positions are now eligible for a $2000 signon bonus $500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $1000 signon bonus $250 every 3 months for one year. New hires rehires and transfers are eligible for this signon bonus. Nature of Work:
A Senior Counselor is a compassionate and patient human services professional who has a drive and passion for the mental health field. They conduct themselves with a high level of professionalism and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As a Senior Counselor you will be an integral member of the team by your direct involvement in the development of individualized service plans for the children and youth diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance that are enrolled in the program. You will also plan implement and document direct services provided to the youth and family in an effort to improve their functioning quality of life and support reunification. Senior Counselors employ strengthsbased traumainformed practices as they support youth families and model for other directcare staffpeople. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a human services required.
- Requires a valid drivers license that meets insurability guidelines to operate Agencyowned vehicles.
- Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care Day Care and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
