Job Description

Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Liverpool Merseyside
Banding: Band 8a
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate:33 36 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Pharmacist to join our clients team in Liverpool. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our pharmacy services.

What will your responsibilities be:

The Band 8a Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and dispensing medications conducting medication reviews and providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters. This role includes developing and implementing treatment plans monitoring patient progress and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Collaboration with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and support is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pharmacy practice
