You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics (BNHI) department within The University of Washington (UW) School of Nursing invites applications for two 2 full time tenuretrack nursing faculty positions at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Tenure track faculty in BNHI have an annual service period of nine months (September 16June 15. Although a 9month appointment the position has opportunities for teaching and/or research funding during summer quarter.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively across disciplines cultures and academic backgrounds and to develop and sustain a program of funded research. Successful candidates must demonstrate commitmentto research teaching and mentoring a diverse student body across all levels of the nursing curriculum: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP; covering a range of practice specialties) Masters of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree programs.
The anticipated start date is September 16 2025.The base salary range for the Assistant Professor position is $per month $annually); and for the Associate Professor position will be $per month $annually) commensurate with rank experience and qualifications.

Candidates should have an earned PhD or related research degree i.e. Doctorate of Nursing Science(or foreign equivalent)in nursing science or a related field. Licensure or eligibility for RN licensure in Washington State is required.
To be eligible for an H1B visa authorizing patient care graduates of foreign (nonU.S. nursing schools must have a Visa Screen certification by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS).
