The Department of Undergraduate Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a fulltime nontenure track Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program teaching at the bedside in obstetric pediatric medicalsurgical or critical care practice settings. In accordance with USCIS regulations successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The University of Texas at Arlington UTA is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor to work with students completing obstetric pediatric Medicalsurgical or critical care clinical experiences in our highlyranked Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program beginning in the Fall semester of 2025. Responsibilities include teaching and supervision of students in the clinical setting grading clinical assignments evaluation of student performance and serving as a professional nursing role model. Faculty will be assigned to teach in courses commensurate with their nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Nursing Masters degree in Nursing Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in Texas Clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in critical care pediatric care and obstetric care areas
Preferred Qualifications
Prior BSN clinical teaching experience DNP or PhD
