Seeking Backup Care Nannies Join PHILIA Trusted Team in Virginia
Location: Various Locations in Virginia
Schedule: OnCall / Backup Care
Start Date: Immediate Openings Available

We are a reputable agency providing topquality backup care services for families across Virginia. As a Backup Care Nanny you will step in to support families in need of temporary reliable care for their children. We are looking for experienced and dependable caregivers who are flexible and ready to provide care on short notice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive safe and nurturing care for children ranging from infants to schoolage.
- Engage children in ageappropriate activities such as arts and crafts games reading and outdoor play.
- Follow family routines and ensure a smooth transition in the absence of the regular caregiver.
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children.
- Assist with basic household tasks related to the children (e.g. tidying up play areas washing dishes).
- Ensure childrens safety at all times and maintain open communication with parents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3years of professional childcare experience.
- Experience working with children of various ages (infants through schoolage).
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
- Flexible schedule and ability to accept sameday or shortnotice assignments.
- Strong communication skills and a positive friendly attitude.
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license (if driving is required).
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Nonsmoker.
- Comfortable with pets (if applicable).
- Fully COVID19 vaccinated with at least 1 booster shot
