THE POSITION
The City of Moreno Valley is seeking a Child Care Site Supervisor who is responsible for the direct supervision of a childcare and development site for schoolage children. This lead position involves overseeing daily operations planning and executing educational and recreational activities and providing supervision and training for staff. This grantfunded parttime benefitted position requires adherence to state licensing practices and runs from 12 PM 6 PM Monday through Friday.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for the Child Care Site Supervisor position is a dedicated and experienced professional with a background in educational and recreational programs for schoolage children. They should have strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to effectively manage and train staff. The candidate must be knowledgeable about state licensing regulations CPR and firstaid methods and safety practices. They should be capable of maintaining positive working relationships with children parents school staff and city staff. A commitment to providing highquality customer service excellent communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule are essential. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience an Associates Degree with specific credits in Early Childhood Education Administration and Adult Supervision and must possess or be able to obtain a Site Supervisors permit upon appointment. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about child development and education and excels in a dynamic supportive environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Develop build and maintain parks trails and recreational facilities in a safe and aesthetically pleasing manner; maintain recreational open space; provide a wide range of programs for the community including athletic leagues classes child care and development and senior activities; library services and literacy programs; schedule use of facilities; plan organize and promote community events; and enforce park rules and regulations and promote safe use of park facilities.
