We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our team to work on the ASPEN (Accounting Subledger Processing Engine) application. This role involves loading financial data performing accounting operations and sending journal entries to the AT&T general ledger. Expertise in shell scripting Oracles SQL*Loader PL/SQL and Red Hat Linux is required with a focus on performance and SOX compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the ASPEN application for efficient data processing and accurate financial reporting.
Load financial data using shell scripts and Oracles SQL*Loader.
Write and optimize PL/SQL code for business logic.
Create outbound files using PL/SQL and shell scripts.
Ensure the application meets performance standards.
Maintain code in CodeCloud/GitHub.
Ensure SOX compliance through auditing and documentation.
Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ASPEN application.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience with Red Hat Linux.
Proficiency in shell scripting and Oracles SQL*Loader.
Expertise in PL/SQL programming.
Experience with job scheduling tools like UC4.
Knowledge of data encryption techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems (CodeCloud GitHub).
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in financial data processing and accounting operations.
Handling large data volumes with performance optimization.
Familiarity with additional programming languages and tools.
Knowledge of data encryption using Voltage and GPG.
Familiarity with enterprise scheduling software like UC4.
