Job Summary
The cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fastpaced restaurant environment. The cook will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared and delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a fastpaced restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment
