SusieCakes has 26 bakery locations across CA TX and TN. Our bakeries are filled with the delicious tastes and sweet smells of cakes cupcakes cookies pies and bars all baked from scratch onsite daily using the freshest and finest ingredients.

In accordance with California law the expected salary range for this California position is between $20.00 and $21.00 an hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Tips: average $2$3 per hour
Full time: 3240 hours a week *weekend availability is a must

The delivery driver is responsible for the transport of our baked goods and other food/supply items. They will be driving between multiple SusieCakes bakeries our commissary kitchen and any guest locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operations Management: Manage the delivery calendar activities daily daily bakery requisitions checklist and adhering to the culinary schedule
- Ensure all food is handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards
- Assist with kitchen food prep & production of baked goods as needed
- Ensure delivery cruiser maintenance & service matters are managed
- Manage expenses for delivery cruiser (i.e. gasoline tolls repairs)
- Ensure the delivery cruiser is driven in a professional manner consistent with local vehicle laws
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid drivers license required
- Excellent driving record required
- Knowledgeable of GPS navigation systems
- Outstanding customer service focus and skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent walking kneeling bending and reaching overhead
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift move and carry up to 50 pounds
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must be able to speak read and write English
OTHER:
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
