Your Career
Palo Alto Networks ADEM (Autonomous Digital Experience Management) group is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with expertise in developing clientside software for Windows and macOS. You will be part of a worldclass engineering team working on innovative solutions in the ADEM domain focusing on building robust efficient and scalable agents for monitoring and enhancing digital experiences. You will collaborate with a multifunctional team of engineers to design and develop software systems that address complex challenges in the ADEM space driving performance and reliability across diverse environments.
Your Impact
- Responsible for complete software development process including requirement analysis design development deployment and support
- Collaborate with other cross functional teams in order to create tight integrations of product features and infrastructure
- Write clean testable readable scalable and maintainable code that scales and performs well for thousands of customers
- Participate actively and be a factor to design and development discussions
- Identify areas for improvement within the team and actively push for positive change through new initiatives or optimizations
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on platform engineering or cloudnative application development.
- Strong programming skills in Python Go or Java with experience in building distributed systems.
- Extensive handson experience with GCP services including Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Cloud Storage BigQuery Pub/Sub and Cloud Functions.
- Proficiency in designing and managing cloudbased architectures with a deep understanding of GCP IAM VPCs and networking.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform Pulumi or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Cloud Monitoring Prometheus or Grafana.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP HTTP/HTTPS) load balancing and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI).
- Experience with data processing and storage solutions like BigQuery Firestore or Cloud Spanner is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $126000/YR $204500/YR.
