Genan is a global leader in tire recycling committed to sustainability and innovation. Were looking for a skilled and detailoriented Plant Electrician to join our team.
Role Overview:
In this role youll maintain and troubleshoot a range of electrical and electronic systems vital to our plant operations. Youll work with everything from industrial machinery and electrical systems to advanced networking and security setups. Key Responsibilities
As Plant Electrician you will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and support both Maintenance Production Technical Service & Operational Excellence teams. Your main tasks will be to:
- Maintain troubleshoot & repair industrial electrical and electronic systems
- Install & calibrate weighing systems controllers PLCs (Siemens Allen Bradley)
- Work with ABB VFDs industrial voltage systems 120V 480V 3 Phase 12.9kV switchgear)
- Support networking security access fiber optics and Ethernet setups
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Certified Industrial Electrician or Minimum of 3 years experience preferably in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of PLC VFD HMI programs microprocessor controls and power factor correction.
- Knowledge of electrical codes blueprints wiring diagrams and assembly schematics.
- Familiarity with ABB VFDs and industrial voltage systems 120V to 480V 3 Phase and 12.9kV switchgear).
- Experience with camera systems security access software installations fibre optics and Ethernet setup.
