Job Description
The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking dynamic and serviceoriented individuals for the position of Lounge Attendant to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Meridien Sheraton Hotel located in Uptown Charlotte is a 690room dual complex with 65000 sq. ft of meeting and conference space.
As a Lounge Attendant you will approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly serviceoriented manner. The primary role of this person will be to ensure the Club Lounge is a warm and inviting area for guests.
Schedule is 5:30am to 2pm and pay is $17/ hour
Responsibilities to include:
Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed.
Present items in the Club Lounge to members.
Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.
Use proper verbiage and etiquette while interacting with members.
Fully stock Club Lounge with amenities i.e. drinks snacks food etc.
Relay order to kitchen and service bar utilizing point of sale system
Observe members to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed for members.
Total bill and accept payment or refer members to cashier.
Ladle soup portion pies and desserts and brew coffee.
Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
Assist in cleaning and wiping down of service areas and prep areas.
Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
