What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney (P&W) is seeking a detail oriented goal focused Technical Manager to the Hot Section Module Center North: Military Hardware Machining and Assembly Business Unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes are efficient costeffective and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering project management and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Oversee the planning and completion of Insourcing and capital projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of manufacturing objectives with overall company goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve product quality.
- Use Lean Manufacturing and CORE operating principles to drive process optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Develop project timelines budgets and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing engineering team.
- Ensuring the full compliance of company policies and procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree and 10 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree in engineering and 7 years of engineering experience
- Degree from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited schools.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 10 years of experience working in the Aerospace Industry in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Experience in module assembly
- Process certification skillset 6 sigma) lean manufacturing or similar skillset
- Supervisory experience with engineering staff

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
