5Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
Teach courses in the assigned subject field each academic semester at the Advanced Technology Center.
Deliver course content using a variety of teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Conduct classes in accordance with the established course syllabus and approved instructional materials. Revise and update course content as needed.
Meet all classes at the scheduled times reporting any absences appropriately to the supervisor.
Provide students and the Division with a syllabus that includes course objectives learning outcomes attendance policies texts readings timelines evaluation criteria and other required information.
Provide instructional support to students referring them to specialized services within the College when needed.
Be available for student consultation via phone or email.
Evaluate student performance through assignments projects discussions or examinations. Provide timely feedback on student progress.
Maintain accurate grade records as required and submit all attendance and grade records electronically by required deadlines.
Assist in developing and administering disciplineappropriate academic achievement measures and testing instruments.
Administer instruments to measure student learning outcomes as required by the department. Provide results as requested.
Encourage students to submit course evaluations and review the feedback to improve course delivery.
Maintain a high level of professional ethics and conduct.
Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Stay current in compliance training including Title IX Responsible Employee training and if applicable Clery Act Campus Security Authority.
Maintain current knowledge of subject matter.
Properly and effectively use technology to deliver instructional materials maintain grades and provide timely communication with students.
Follow all institutional policies procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean or Associate Dean.
Required Qualification(s)
In evaluating candidates for this position the College may consider a combination of education training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge skills and abilities to perform duties of position.
A HS diploma with a minimum of five 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial maintenance position or similar in an industrial manufacturing environment OR Associates degree or higher with at least two 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial maintenance position or similar in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Experience inPLCprogramming and applications. Must have direct practical experience and demonstrate advanced knowledge of maintenance and repair of mechanical drives (belts chains gears) hydraulics pneumatics electrical systems motor controls and general automated systems.
Strong oral communication skills teamwork skills professional attitude attention to detail and desire to help others succeed in their career goals are essential.

Desired Qualification(s)
Bachelors degree or higher with at least 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial maintenance position or similar in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Training or teaching experience in the industrial manufacturing industrial maintenance engineering design manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering area.
Familiarity with online classroom management systems (e.g. Canvas). Community College teaching experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
