DescriptionAre you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a dynamic and exciting opportunity As our Maintenance Technician based in McKinney TX you will play a key role in supporting the facility manager in maintaining the daily operations of our facility. Your responsibilities will include a combination of building maintenance vendor coordination and logistical support for inbound and outbound shipments!
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Building Maintenance: Gain handson knowledge of building systems and perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment
- Tool & Equipment Inspection: Assist with the inspection of tools and equipment and coordinate services with external vendors to help repair items as needed
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards maintaining a safe work environment
- Freight Handling: Load and unload freight carriers efficiently ensuring all items are handled with care
- Shipping and Packaging: Package and ship outgoing packages and freight ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Product Display Support: Catalog store repair and ship product displays as needed for customer events
- Equipment Operation: Operate various material handling equipment including portable stationary manual and powered devices as required for daily tasks
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming goods accurately store items and resolve any discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment ensuring high standards of housekeeping at all times
- Hazardous Materials Handling: Safely handle hazardous materials in frequently in accordance with company safety and environmental guidelines

For This Role You Will Need:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write and possess fundamental math and counting skills
- Customerservice oriented both internally and externally
- Familiarity with tools equipment and machinery used in maintenance tasks
- Must be eligible to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance
- Ability to stand bend and work in various environments required; indoor and outdoor
- Ability to use ladders and other safety equipment
- Ability to adapt and switch between tasks and activities across the facility as needed
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools to manage emails calendar and data entry
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- 1400 hours of technical associates Facility Maintenance Certification or equivalent experience of 35 years
- Previous shipping and receiving experience is a plus
- Previous forklift experience
