Clark College is currently accepting applications for a parttime Communication Studies Professor. The successful candidates must be flexible and available to fulfill department needs. Department and college service work is expected with the position (as assigned by the Division or college) to support the institutional mission and goals foremost being student success and retention.
This parttime position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected yearround. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
- Participate in decisionmaking processes by taking part in department and college committees.

- Work well with people of all ages from academically culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Masters Degree or higher in Communication Studies or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching introductory Communication Studies courses at the college level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using a variety of teaching and assessment techniques including the use of technology and active learning strategies that enhance student success.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team.
- Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
