Our LA creative division in La Verne California is expanding!
We are seeking artistic creative and enthusiastic people for fulltime positions who are eager to join our team. You will be responsible for playing a key role in our West Coast production facility within our nationwide portfolio of entertainment assets including Haunted Attractions Halloween Festivals Immersive Experiences Activations Escape Rooms and Axe Throwing. We are looking for someone with an experienced creative background focused on scenic and set creation to execute designs and ideas into reality. Strong candidates will have extensive skills in imaginative building good knowledge of various techniques and materials good work ethics and a positive attitude. Our shop strives to be an excellent allinclusive serious but fun work environment with a solid culture.
Job Description: Builders and Makers for Scenic Elements and Sets
Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled builders and makers to join our team to construct and fabricate scenic elements and sets. This role involves transforming design concepts into tangible highquality structures for theatrical productions film sets events or exhibitions. The ideal candidate is detailoriented creative and experienced in working with various materials and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Based on design specifications construct and assemble scenic elements including walls platforms props and furniture.
- Fabricate set pieces using materials such as wood metal foam and plastics.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment including saws drills welders and CNC machines.
- Collaborate with designers artists and other team members to ensure accurate and timely of projects.
- Troubleshoot and problemsolve during the construction process to meet creative and technical requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry fabrication or a related field.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools as well as fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints or CAD files.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Experience in scenic construction or theater production is a plus.
- Include a portfolio of your work with your application highlighting relevant projects and skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for projectrelated activities is required.
