Core Responsibilities:
- Testdrive vehicles and test vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes replenishing vehicle fluids replacing batteries filters wiper blades etc.
- Rotate mount and balance tires according to vehicle specifications and ensure proper inflation
- Complete multipoint inspections taking detailed notes of vehicle condition and recommended maintenance for the Service Advisor to communicate to the customer
- Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership processes
- Ensure repairs covered under warranty are completed to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean safe workstation
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Training from an automotive technology program or handson experience working at dealership or independent shop
- Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance services including oil changes fluid exchanges and tire rotations
- ASE and/or factory certifications preferred
- Desire to learn and strengthen mechanical proficiencies
- Detailoriented thorough and methodical
- Basic computer skills
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
- Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening
