Quality Control Technician
First shift 4:40 AM/2:30 PM salary $ 13.85 per hour Testing & Interview required. Please submit resume to

Summary: ensures the company meets or exceeds quality control programs designed to result in contagious production consistent with established standards by performing the following duties:
Handles U.S.D.A. and S.S.O.P documentation
Assist with operations and production.
Conducts tests of seasoning batter and breading and marinade solutions.
Pulls product off the lines randomly to measure wight length and thickness to ensure product is being produced according to customer specification.
Responsible for hourly pickups.
Responsible for hourly metal detection checks.
Responsible for tracking box wight checks.
Responsible for organoleptic testing. (Cooking product).
Participates in weekly QA staff meetings to discuss industry developments customer issues QA issues.
Assists with training of backup QC Technicians
Prints labels on asneeded basis.
Serves as backup for other QA Technicians
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to work well with others have good organizational skills and be able to complete tasks in a timely manner. Must be able to read write and speak English at a level necessary to communicate with supervisors inspector and other personnel.
Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to use a calculator to determine percentages and averages. Must adhere to quality and safety guidelines.
Must be able to stand walk use hands to find handle or feel reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk or hear and tase or smell. Position requires use of knife. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twentyfive pounds. The employee is exposed to extreme cold temperatures in the plant freezer.
