Job Description
ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All applicants must be professing Christians and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of Abilene Christian University while employed by the university.
Upward Bound tutors will provide oneonone and/or small group tutoring services to Upward Bound students (disadvantaged high school students). This position also looks for students who will be available to drive Upward Bound van to transport students to and from tutoring.
- Tutor Students on individual bases or in small groups.
- Develop tutoring plan with students to gauge academic progress through tutoring sessions. Maintain
- communication with Upward Bound staff and attend tutor training sessions.
- Tutors may be asked to drive 11 passenger vans if eligible (ability for extra hours)
