DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Driver License Examiner Assistant you will engage directly with clients to verify applicant identification complete application forms and input data into online driver license application software. You will be administering standardized knowledge tests to evaluate applicants comprehension of the vehicle code driving regulations related traffic control devices as well as completing vision screenings for visual acuity using a telebinocular device for all applicants. Work also involves producing restoration requirement letters upon request and processing REAL IDs. It is imperative that you ensure the accurate use and documentation of fee waiver codes whenever necessary for processing customer transactions in accordance with fee waiver guidelines.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel may be required to other Driver License Centers as needed.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining evaluating and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and NameBased Criminal History Check prior to employment.
