Saint Louis University a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning research health care and service is seeking applicants for a qualified BE/BC Radiation Oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Duties and responsibilities of this position will consist of performing and providing clinical care to patients with cancer diseases and other conditions treated with radiotherapy. Candidates possessing an M.D. or D.O. in radiation oncology with board certification/eligibility and with strong clinical teaching and research skills related to SABR modalities are encouraged to apply. New grads are welcome. We work in concert with the SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital to provide excellent care in our Center for Radiation Medicine that opened 2017. SSM Health in conjunction with Saint Louis University and SLUCare Physician Group is building a new state of the art 802000 squarefoot 550 million dollar expansion to SLU Hospital with an expected completion in September 2020. The Radiation Oncology department consists of two faculty and three Medical Physicists and new Varian TrueBeam equipment. The department provides expertise in Stereotactic Rapid Arc Respiration Gating Calypso and Total Body Radiation capabilities. HDR / LDR experience are desired for future growth.
