Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a CAD Operator/Programmer to join our team at Delta Steel: Houston. As a key player in our Processing department you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify CAD drawings and models for structural steel components
- Program CNC machinery for steel fabrication
- Collaborate with CNC machine operators and sales team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Perform quality checks on drawings and parts to meet industry standards
- Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software such as Sigmanest Pronest Vacam Solid Works
- Understanding of dwg dxf and pdf shop drawings
- Experience in CNC programming and operation
- Knowledge of structural steel and fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 25 years of experience
