SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Location:Medina OH (Hybrid 12 days per week inoffice)
FireDex and Gear Wash are looking for a dynamic Social Media Specialist to enhance our brand presence and drive digital engagement. In this role youll develop and execute innovative social media strategies that amplify our reach build community drive leads and support marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow FireDex and Gear Wash social channels including Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Develop and execute datadriven social media strategies to increase brand awareness engagement and follower growth.
- Create edit and publish compelling content that fosters community interaction and drives meaningful engagement.
- Plan and manage paid social media campaigns including audience targeting budget allocation and performance optimization.
- Optimize company pages across platforms to maximize visibility and impact.
- Monitor analyze and report on key social media metrics to measure success and inform strategy adjustments.
- Stay ahead of social media trends platform updates and industry best practices to continuously refine our approach.
- Engage with followers in a timely and authentic manner ensuring a bestinclass brand experience.
- Collaborate with copywriters and marketing team members to maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Support marketing campaigns and product launches by integrating social media strategies.
- Plan and execute social media giveaways including the distribution of firefighting PPE to drive lead generation and audience growth.
- Assist with local event planning and promotions as needed.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications or related field required
- Two to four years of professional social media management
- Experience with paid social a must
- HubSpot experience is a plus
- Adobe experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Strong communication skills ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside of the organization including verbal electronic and written
- Ability to work in teams as well as possess selfaccountability
- Efficient with prioritizing and multitasking including being productive while handling redirections and interruptions based upon business needs
- Possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
- Ability to travel an average of 510 a year for strategy meetings trainings or events
- Possess strong problemsolving skills including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
